The Return Home in The Wizard of OZ

This scene, and really the entire movie, embodies a great deal of what Campbell had in mind when he discussed the Hero's Journey. Dorothy discovers that she had the power to return home whenever she wanted, but first she had to survive the road of trials and gain the wisdom to understand this.
